Birdies for Beacon is the annual golf tournament benefiting Project Beacon. Project Beacon exists to build a community of belongings where adults with autism and other Neurodiversities can play, learn, work, and live. We are committed to delivering quality, sustainable solutions for the educational, vocational, social, and residential challenges facing the neurodiverse community. Together we can help those on the autism spectrum and with special needs have lives of self-agency and purpose. Join us and support an often-overlooked community and need that has so much to offer our communities.
The Birdies for Beacon Golf Tournament will be held Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025, at Highland Pines Golf Club and will feature an 18-hole Four-Player Scramble Tournament and an Adaptive Golf Experience.
10:30 am – VIP Check-in and VIP Brunch*
11 am – Player Check-in and Lunch
11-12:30 pm – Putting & Pitching contests
12:30 pm – Driving Range Closes
1:00 pm – Shotgun start
Dinner begins at the end of play – approximately 5:30 – 6PM
The tournament is a four-player scramble. Before play, golfers can participate in the putting contest, pitching contest, and warm-up on the range and putting green.
Lunch will be provided before tee-off with unlimited soft drinks and domestic beer.
At the conclusion of tournament play, players are encouraged to stay, relax, and enjoy a buffet-style dinner, raffle, auction, and Awards Ceremony.
*Birdies for Beacon VIP Brunch, included in the Premium Sponsorship packages, offers conversation with the Project Beacon board, complemented by a delightful lunch and refreshing Bloody Mary’s. Enjoy an exclusive experience that promises engaging conversations and additional surprises.

At Project Beacon, we desire to create a community of belongings where everyone is included and an active vibrant member of the community. This Adaptive Golf Experience gives older adolescents and adults with autism and other Neurodiversities a chance to experience the game of golf through modified rules or equipment based on the person’s abilities. A variety of experiences and skills will be tested along the course in a fun and inclusive way.
